BookingHub Privacy policy
What we hold
The merchant's name, email address, phone number, the properties they list and the bookings taken on their site.
Why we hold it
To run the software, take the subscription payment, and keep the records we are required to keep.
Who sees it
BookingHub staff who need it to support the account. When support opens your admin, it is written to your Activity log. Searches across bookings, for fraud, reports and payment disputes, are recorded in BookingHub's own audit log and do not appear in your Activity log. Our emails to you are sent through Google Workspace's mail service. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Guests' data
A merchant's guest accounts belong to that merchant. We process them on the merchant's instructions and never share them between merchants.
Maps
When you set a property's map position, BookingHub looks up the addresses you search through OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service, under BookingHub's name — your device is not shared with it. The map itself is loaded by your browser or phone directly from OpenStreetMap (Apple Maps in the iOS app), which sees your device's IP address and the area shown. Guests are not shown a map.
How long
For as long as the account exists, and afterwards for as long as we must keep billing records.
Languages
This document is published in English, Armenian and Russian. The three versions say the same thing. If you find a difference between them, tell us and we will correct it. If they ever differ, the English version prevails.
Changes
If we make a material change to this document we tell you and ask you to accept the new version at your next sign-in. Until you accept, you can sign in but cannot manage the account.
